5th Season of Arrested Development Airs May 29th
Arrested Development is 15 years old. The 1st two seasons are masterpieces and season starts to get a bit wonky. Season 4, I’d have to re-watch to make a solid opinion, but I don’t remember being thrilled with it. The new season should hopefully meet expectations if they are going to go to the trouble of making it.
I’m re-watching some episodes to refresh and the show has moments that are laugh out loud funny. The dynamics between certain characters are where I get the biggest kick. Buster’s scenes tend to be my favorite. I especially like him with Gob and George Michael.
To the average viewer you think, “why’s this funny?” That’s what makes the show great. You have to understand the characters to get the jokes.
