With my move in 5 days, I plan to go with only internet as opposed to internet and cable. But I need help!
With Rob, we paid $175 a month for Comcast internet and cable, plus RedZone, an extra cable box, and some other random shit.
Internet Only
Verizon offers internet only, 100 Mbps, for $40 a month. Is that fast enough to do normal things like stream Netflix (that chart is not lining up with what I’m seeing from Verizon)?
Comcast on the other hand offers internet only, 400 Mbps, for $80 a month. I’d imagine that’s plenty fast, but probably not worth double the price?
How TF do I watch sports?
What are the best options here? I’ve done some research but
- I’ve heard mixed reviews on a lot of these
- There are 100 options.
Does anyone have any surefire recommendations?
Or am I making a mistake?
Should I just adjust the package to $100 a month for more basic cable and internet?
HELP ME!
Yes. My family has Verizon. We have 100 MB up and down. We have 4 people and we all heavy gamers or streamers. No issue. Verizon should give you a router with 2 WiFi connections to separate you connections as well. I’m home if need to see how I stream, etc. I did the whole dumping cable after the Super Bowl.
Yea, I steam sports. I can teach you that too.
How is this working out?
