Sam showed me Michale Burry’s (one of the first investors to profit from the impending subprime mortgage crises in 2008) Twitter account and I agree with his stance. We know that it’s a complicated response when answering why .2% of the total US population is affecting 99.8% because of the virus. Lives are at stake and decision makers don’t want to be wrong which is totally understandable among the uncertainty.
I’m not claiming to be intelligent on this topic, so I wouldn’t listen to me. However, I am writing that our government is a joke and believing what they are telling you is stupid. With the “facts”. With their understanding of the situation. With their recommendations. People will see through the bullshit and it’s already happening as I type this with people protesting against the stay at home order in Michigan.
The small brains are worried about the virus. The virus will be secondary to the damage the government is causing with this shutdown. People are going to get unruly when they don’t have money to buy food. They are going to stop listening to orders from the government. The government will learn quickly that they don’t have as much power as they think they do when people start to rebel and that’s when the fun will begin. Get your torches ready.

I’m aware that this is a doomsday scenario, but when they treat this as a political game with left vs right, problems will occur. Frankly, I’m pro people. I read the Twitter comments and many people are saying how stupid the protest is, and I understand that viewpoint. However, ruling by fear is a shitty method and that’s what’s happening in my opinion. For instance, I’d think that if I left my house I would catch a virus and die based off this image rather than .2% of the population being infected.

This entire fiasco has made me dislike America. The citizens are are not nice people. Our government has personal vendetta’s that supersede well being. Media gravitates to ratings over facts. People are made to resent each other for varying opinions or where they come from. It’s a bad look.
Can someone read the tweet below and please explain it to me? The amount of people who are tested and don’t have the virus would be 80%? Does that mean that 120k people were tested today and only ~20k people have the virus. Which means 100k people have symptoms, get tested, and don’t have it. Am I the only one who sees a problem with this?

The only positive that seems to be occurring is that the country is suddenly having to debate issues (again) that were debated in our founding, in the rise to the Civil War, etc. – and perhaps a new generation will realize the gravity of those rights, separations and dialogues.
Almost every person I know has lost their job – or has been forced to a contracted role – across a variety of industry and service. They are not running out of Netflix shows to watch, they are running out of money to pay rent or feed their kids.
Yet, they would rather do that than risk being responsible for people dying.
I don’t understand your problem with the tweet stats.
