I know people don’t like clicking on links, but the husband is a DFS player and uses his wife’s account to create an additional 150 entries for this tournament. Interestingly enough, on a 4 game playoff slate, this strategy managed to win. The wildness behind the story is that this is happening all of the time in DFS and this is the first time a high profile win is making mainstream headlines about the collusion involved. Here is the proof of how 1 put the QB’s from 3 teams and the other the other 3.

This happened 3 years ago (Papagates & Chipotleaddict) and not much has changed. Will there be any change this time? I think the evidence is a bit more damning this time.

So now the Bachelor couple is getting caught for various reasons and they are all equally ridiculous. Here is the moron friend putting a since deleted video of why the couple couldn’t have cheated and women’s rights! This is the best evidence of watching someone who knows what happened, thought of a strategy to substantiate it, and got torn to shreds because fabrication gets real hard once evidence is learned.

To make matters even funnier, he challenged @draftcheat (the guy who made this video) to an actual fight and would give the money to charity. That happened last night and now Randone has protected all his tweets because of some obvious (wise) counseling.

What I Don’t Like

Hopefully that gives some context behind what is transpiring on a daily basis in DFS. This isn’t my world. I only play for recreation and my expectations of winning are becoming clearer all the time. I’ve known I don’t have an edge to players submitting 150 lineups in tournaments. I’ve been aware that collusion most likely exists and turned a blind eye to it because it didn’t matter to me that much. But after going through this ordeal, this is crystal clear:

• The People are Scumbags – When money is involved, people will cheat. It’s been going on for years and happens more than I know.
• Draftkings Integrity is a Joke – Draftkings has data on all of this transpiring under their nose and do nothing about it. The more entries for them, the more rake. Now it’s being pushed to the forefront (again) and this time on an even bigger platform. I will not support the bullshit that is spewing from them.
• Don’t Support the Touts – Giving money to people touting information is laughable to me at this point. The touts enter all the contests. They work with other touts. They can publish misinformation. It’s a complete wasteland.

Back when I decided to quit online poker, it was for the same reason, it’s a waste of time financially and people who have more time and wisdom than me will win the money. The best way to prevent this from happening is to not give them the money. The more people who understand the industry, the better place the world becomes because cheats with money is worse than cheats without it. This industry is full of cheats.
