My Pine Barrens review was superior to ChatGPT’s. Its was written like a cliff note entry and they’d never seen the episode. I thought the way they formatted the post with numbers was different. I wonder if that’s tested and determined to be the best way people process info?

Who’s the Idiot?

Today a black SUV almost got merged into by a shitkicker Honda on the Newtown Bypass. No beeps. No road rage. Just kicked to the side and got back in traffic. What struck me as odd was the SUV didn’t ride the back of the vehicle or fake hit the other car. If I had to bet, I’d say this is #2 on the road rage meter. #1 being cut off by someone. I’ve seen this instance happen a dozen times now where people unknowingly merge into another vehicle. This can be commonplace when a far right driver wants to move left and a far left driver moves right, and they don’t show up in each others mirrors. I’m so aware that other drivers are morons that I’ll not even take the chance to merge when this is a possibility. Clearly in this instance, the person merging into the other vehicle is the idiot.

A rule of the road I want to touch on is the Gap between you and the car in front of you. Most people don’t understand this when driving in their lane. The idea is that you are always within 1-2 car distances of the car in front of you. It’s that simple. If there is a gap between you and the car in front of you, you’re in the wrong lane. I use this to determine if I need to pass the car in front of me. The left hand lane should always be open and drivers should be going a minimum of 80 in it. This only applies to 95, but I’m sure it’s the same on the turnpike as well. 80 MINIMUM. At this speed, the gap is a non issue. Bros going fast together is a bonding experience. Remember this spacing tidbit the next time you’re driving and to curse at those not following the rules of the road.
