Upper Moreland Golden Bigots

This woman blatantly says that the guy shouldn’t be President because he’s a cis, white, male and it “sends the wrong message to our community…contrary to what we’ve been been trying to accomplish.” Upper Moreland sent out a statement removing her from the board for her comments that can found here.

Let’s Discuss

Upper Moreland is a high school 10 minutes from where I grew up and competed against. I’m sure Upper Dublin is similar in their diversity quest. Let’s say for instance Ms. Solot said “that we can’t have a gay, black, male as our President.” Racist? You bet your ass. Thinking exclusion is equality is completely backward. It’s embarrassing that this is what’s going on behind closed doors.

Nothing I write here will ever come across correctly because I am indeed a cis, white, male with incredible privileges that have nothing to do with working hard as everyone knows white people are handed the world on a silver platter. Now we can’t even be the President of the Upper Moreland school board! Fortunately there is hope because Upper Moreland issuing the apology is saying, “we’re sorry we got caught.” This type of behavior is all over universities and high schools. Are you paying attention yet?
