This Blog Sucks commented “loser” on a Go Woke, Get Broke post I wrote 2 years ago. After listening to the Artie vs Sal/Richard fight recently, it occurred to me that real world confrontation makes for the best entertainment. Beer League Sucked!

This comes on the heels of a post I published for an Association where a member wrote, “I thought this article was very informal.” I wrote the gentleman back and asked what he meant by that. No response so far.
A difference between me and these people is I’m in the open and the doer. I put my thoughts out there. I post content for an association. I’m not lurking around waiting to give my undeveloped thought that might make me feel better? I don’t think I can understand the psychology of the troll post. Which goes to say that there are commenters out there that are meaningful, well intended, and who encourage conversation. I’m all for those comments.

I’ve been the commenter hating on the world. When companies I invest in continue to suck, you’ll find my tweets telling them how to do their job better. In my mind, they’ve accepted my money and owe me a responsibility to be right by it. This blog owes no one anything. These are my honest opinions, and if you don’t like them, tell me why you don’t like them instead of calling me a loser. Fortunately, I’ve dealt with negative comments before and they roll off my back. No one has time for that.

You could call me out for letting this comment get to me (even when I say it doesn’t), but I’m using it to launchpad this idea that it’s a person who wants the world to be a certain way. Their ideal way. They operate beyond the confines of the construct. Essentially a dreamer. My post to spur that comment, even as I read it 2 years later, is what I believe to be true. Men can’t have babies and Netflix is motivated by political agendas. Amazingly when I wrote that post Netflix had dropped from $690 to the low point of $190. They’ve since 5x’d. Perhaps they read my post and veered course.

I’ll make the point that the further you go up the political totem pole, the clearer the reasons for why the world work become more apparent. Money, power, and respect rule. I’m not there and neither are you (I assume). I surmise that Donald Trump makes the decisions he does due to a combination of extreme narcissism and genuinely thinking he’s doing what’s best for the country. People will tell you it’s 100% the former and 0% the latter. These are the people who comment on this blog that I’m a loser.

It makes me look at people who think Elon Musk is damaging the world. His track record is astonishing creating solutions that will improve humanity for decades, if not centuries. Who comments that he’s an idiot? Well. The idiot obviously. The doers of the world hold the cards. They operate within the world’s game and deserve the spoils that come along with it. They don’t concern themselves with the negative Nancy’s. It takes a long time to learn this, and even though part of me wants to tell the person who called me a loser that I’m not a loser (that’s a joke), I’ve become comfortable and confident in my worldview that I’ll happily be that loser to that person.
the guy probably wrote “informative”, misspelled it, and was corrected to “informal”, then missed it. Happens to me all the time, and sometimes leads to trouble.
