It’s been Awhile since I couldn’t hold my head up high…but I’m back now. Feels good to be back. It was a solid 2 weeks of traveling. Sam filled in on the European part and I’ll add more. After that trip I flew to Dallas for another trade show. I arrived in Philly at 10pm the one night from Europe and was up at 2:15am the next day to catch a 5am flight. All the traveling is completed now and I get some time to relax.

Sitting in a tin can 8 times over the course of 10 days strains a few parts of the human body and we weren’t flying business class. Multiple times I felt my elbow was falling asleep from the arm rest and my ass was going dead. Physical nature aside, the people are the worst. Rush to get in line for their group. Exit their aisle before the people are out in front. Requesting extra desserts. Airports bring out the worst of human nature.

I enjoy certain aspects of the European culture more than the USA. 1) I can’t understand them so they automatically seem intelligent 2) They are rarely overweight 3) They dress far superior 4) It doesn’t seem like they rush life. (In Rome, I’m not sure I saw an office building.)

Even with a few of those minor details, my desire for sports bars would always have me favor America. The European’s, aside from the Irish Pubs, don’t watch TV in their bar. You’re supposed to talk. Terrible.

Over the next couple days I’ll upload my pictures and give a few thoughts on the trip.
