I’m starting to find my groove with the Wall Street Journal online. It took some adjusting, but after years of using the paper, I’ve adapted to reading articles on my PC. I’ll alt click 20 articles and consume them as quickly as possible. This will keep me better informed moving forward.
Anyway, here is a chart of the S&P after the election of Donald Trump. I started this post last Friday so it’s not completely up to date

This is what you want to see if you have money on the sidelines. Huge roller-coaster dips. Why does this happen? Individuals pulling money out of the market because they need it / don’t believe in the future? Hedge funds shorting America? There is no way to be in my position and even pretend to understand why this happens. HOWEVA, scared money don’t make money. These are the times you get rich. You dollar cost average every week/month and throw your money back in the market. Whether it’s the S&P, Berk B, the Dow, RKLB, I don’t give a rats ass, get it in. No one is saying it won’t go down further, but unless your plan is to die tomorrow, a novel approach perhaps, put that money to work!

I’ve enjoyed watching America react to Donald. The Democrats acting like children at that speech was embarrassing to the party and anti American. The market is uncertain and I agree with CK4 that Trump needs to stop saying the word “tariff”. My thought is he will back off eventually. The rest of the world is on edge and Donald is playing games which I find to be absurd, but I also don’t have information, or experience in running the biggest GDP country. Overall, it doesn’t seem to me that America is worse off than before. Perhaps even correcting errors, especially with government waste and fraud. For me, when you hear that the interest expense on our debt is more than our defense department budget, that’s #1 priority. Fixing your spending aligns with proper principles of running a company/business which the USA hasn’t gotten right. Well…ever. I’ve heard debt is cheaper than equity, but in this case, I don’t believe it.
Which leaves us where? Get rich now. Don’t miss these opportunities to invest back in the market. They only come every few years. If we start cratering, pour it back in.
