The corporate ladder is cruel. Barstool went from underground to mainstream and it is flopping.
Take Ria. This is the best content I’ve seen from Barstool. Perhaps ever.
The ladies are great looking. Ria is wearing a knockout punch and Fran is wearing what she’d wear to the laundromat. I’ve never listened, watched, or read one thing from Ellie.
To the premise, this isn’t content I intend to find. I stumbled on this hidden gem. But Barstool isn’t worth reading. It’s, I’m guessing, 50-100 average bloggers begging for attention. Francis has the most talent and he got shit-canned.
The pizza reviews are played out. I’m sorry to say, but I’ve never heard a single podcast PMT has done. It’s probably not bad. The point is that it’s not readable material. Perhaps I’ve aged. I’ve outgrown Barstool. That’s ok.
So why go to the trouble to call out their troubled future? The money changes the goals. That’s unfortunately the root of all evil. The money making machine needs to eat and their employees are the food. How much do you think the bloggers make? 40k? Do you think Ria makes 100k? If she doesn’t, she’s underpaid. I say that with more credibility than the video. They are getting interviews with the Jonas Brothers. I have no idea how popular the Jonas Brothers are, but I’d bet they sell out stadiums.
I still visit the site, unfortunately, it’s more of a joke than an information source. Are you seriously going to follow these guys sports bets? Sam’s locks are better than that.
