It’s fair to say that this website has decreased in quality since Sam and I merged our blogs. Here are the latest polls:
We both figured we could rely on the other person and that has made both of us work less. The ideas of video blogs, joint posts, running gags, and the like need more effort. Gourlay was solid for 1 post. It’s no wonder that no one maintains blogs for as long as we have.
The combination of the audiences hasn’t made sense either. When people who were strictly commenting on Sam’s blogs, because its Sam’s audience, have no interest commenting on my blogs, we go backward. Once again, the reason why personal blogs combining may not have been a great idea.
Even still, I don’t think this is the end of an era. We only need to figure out how to create material that more people want to read.
Now that we’re working together, we should probably comment on each others mannerisms that annoy us. Why does he keep 3 paper towels by his desk? I’ve never heard him blow his nose. Does he re-use the towels? Would he rather use a tissue?
Sometimes he’ll eat only half a hoagie. I’ve never seen a kid eat dinner faster, yet for some reason he doesn’t eat his lunch the same way. Why?
I’m sure this would be better content than my betting posts and Sam’s Frisbee golf.
