Technically if K. Edmund beats A. Murray, I’ll have $37 dollars in the account, but the post is still worth updating.
Here’s a look by league breakdown because I know none of you check the spreadsheet.
What you’re seeing are the results of 40 days of betting and around 300+ wagers placed. I did manage to gain $45 dollars of reward bonus dollars during the process, but that is in play.
Here are my thoughts:
- Are you fucking kidding me the tennis losses? $350 bucks on an event I didn’t watch more than 1 set of. The guy giving me picks on tennis should be fired. How is he even qualified to write an article? Why do I think if you’re giving tennis picks you automatically should know more than a guy giving football or baseball picks? Fucking killer.
- Golf is on me. I take long shots in hopes of winning. Then I take more long shots as the tournament progresses and I can’t seem to hit them. Ever. Adam gave me a Jason Day about 5 years ago and that was the last time. Actually, I had Bubba in the WGC match-play this year, but that’s it.
- The World Cup betting was atrocious. There are 6 possible outcomes which is a bit different that sports I’m used to betting on. I swear, when I picked the favorite, the underdog or draw hit. When I went for an underdog, the complete opposite. I literally lost or pushed 12 in a row.
- Same thought on WNBA as with tennis. If you have the audacity to make the pick, you would like to think you have a tip or something and aren’t pulling straws. I watched a game one time and it was the worst 30 seconds of my life.
- At one point I had an 8 day winning streak and was up about $800. The run I’ve been on since 6/3/18 is astonishing. 15 losing days out of the last 23. Bad, bad betting. Hardens a man though.
It’s not about the money. $400 dollars for 40 days of entertainment isn’t even a question that it’s worth it. I’ve lost $500 dollars in 15 minutes at a casino when you start to compare how bad it is to lose money. So I’m glad I tracked all the info because it gives me a good idea of leaks I should be plugging. I think I’ll take a short break and come back with a vengeance. Big props to Matt Zlybert of the Action Network who is their only stud.

I agree $400 over 40 days isn’t terrible as far as entertainment value goes, but what actual entertainment are you getting out of betting on a sports that you don’t even watch?
You bet a tennis match or WNBA game, don’t watch it, and win OR lose, there’s no ‘entertainment’ to it, unless you just like the idea of reading a random tweet from a sports blogger, taking the bet, and showing it off to everyone if it wins.
I do buy the entertainment value aspect of gambling, but when you’re not actually getting any entertainment from it, I don’t buy it.
Try it before you knock it. Watching tennis matches while hitting f5 at your desk isn’t as uneventful as you think.
It’s not to prove how smart you are, it’s to make money. I paid $99 dollars for a year of “wisdom” from experts. To not take the picks they are providing would mean that I shouldn’t have subscribed in the first place. You’re either on board or you’re not.
Right, but I’d rather wager MORE on the picks they give me that I can actually watch as opposed to a ton of micro-bets on sports I don’t watch. You don’t have to take EVERY pick they give you.
