I stopped playing video games when I was about 24 or 25. I spent those next few years drinking and going out too much, then I moved into a new place by myself and the productivity levels of my existence increased. I still probably watch too much TV, but I was able to learn Photoshop, read a ton of self improvement and other books for fun, and filled that void with other activities. It’s not all gravy because you’ll find yourself looking to fill time, but that should be better than pwning noobs.
Reading is a good option. But read something that challenges you. Don’t watch TV – write a pilot for a TV show. Go to a museum and talk to someone who knows what they are talking about. Buy a cookbook and try to make every recipe in it. Also, you could sign-up for other classes to make wood stuff…;)
