The 41st Day — Ryan Hall’s Journey

The actual description on the KickStarter is:

“A documentary telling the story of America’s best long distance runner as he prepares for the 2012 Olympic Marathon, and beyond.”

My $25 got me:

“You will receive a copy of the DVD and your name will be listed in the credits.”

The estimated delivery was July 2013. It’s been five years and I still don’t have my DVD.

I got an email YESTERDAY from these guys:

Dude, c’mon.

I don’t care about this DVD anymore.

I don’t even have a DVD player.

I could probably beat this guy in a race right now (probably not).

Ryan Hall, though once a great American distance runner, has been irrelevant for about 3 years.

This was robbery.

I give the guy credit for putting in (some) time and effort to create a film that people actually cared about, but this is among the worst execution of anything I’ve ever seen.

Can’t wait to use the DVD as toilet paper.
