I’m on the Phillies Bandwagon
I never cared about baseball. Once the Phillies should-have-been-dynasty flamed out I didn’t know much aside from what I heard on the radio.
But now that we’re good again, and we have Bryce Harper, I’M BACK BABY!
I’ve watched more Phillies this season than the last 5 years combined. I don’t think I’m exaggerating there.
They’re playing the Nats tonight at 7:05 and I am actually planning my night around watching it (on mute while I compete in an online U1500 blitz chess tournament for fellow U1500 players who suck at chess).
But the excitement is actually there. I actually check the MLB section of ESPN now to see what’s going on and who’s doing what. I actually care about baseball.
I know this is triggering my diehard friends like Dale and Gourlay, but it’s true. Whether this lasts a week, a month, a year, or a decade, at the moment I’m all in. Phillies or bust baby!
