I don’t mind that none of you like golf, I want it to be documented.

Round 2 concluded with Lovemark and Koepka tied at top.

On hole 13, Koepka was -5 and +800. He hit his second shot on a par 5 to the green and I thought to myself that now would be a good time to bet Koepka. I saw +850. Lovemark was at +10 and it seemed like it was anyone’s tournament. He eagled the hole and moved to +450.

After 2 rounds, Koepka is now tied with Lovemark and +225. 225 is not a bad number. I repeat. 225 is not a bad number. This guy is not your average golfer the way Dustin Johnson is not your average golfer. Who else has a shot at winning a tournament Brookes Koepka cares about?

  • Jaime Lovemark – 24th at the Wyndham and missed the cut at the PGA. Not driver. Not that accurate of late. Putting and scrambling have been nice. Up and comer no doubt. Right now, though?
  • Koepka – There’s not any comment at this time.
  • Adam Scott – Don’t like the guy. Belly putter, still. I have no idea if a belly putter is advantageous or not, but it feels wrong. He fell apart at the PGA to Brookes and there is no reason why it would ever be different.
  • Dustin Johnson – I’m a big Dustin supporter. I think he’s the 2nd best player in the field.

  • Bryson DeChambeau – If you want a wildcard, be my guest. Hard on himself to a fault. Odd science that he may be on to a different look at the game. I don’t dislike him. He’s hard to root for.
  • Sean O’hair – O’hair out of nowhere. We’ll talk after round 3.
  • Kevin Tway – Playing good golf with 6/6 last MC’s. Highest position was 6th at the travelers. Long shot. Long. Long Shot.
  • Tommy Fleetwood – Why not? He has the talent. He almost set the course record at the US open. He’s right there.

  • Ryan Palmer – If you can sense him winning, you aren’t reading this.
  • Vegas – No chance.
  • Uihlein – Good Euro golfer who every time I’ve bet money on, he’s lost.
  • Hadwin – Haven’t heard much of this season. Too far back most likely.
  • Phil Mickelson – I like Phil a lot and he took down JT in a playoff this season. My feeling is he makes too many bogeys in crunch time. His great is great, but his bad is bad shown by his shots in the, literal, stand.

  • Finau – Makes a lot of birdies so if he gets hot, he has a shot.
  • Cantlay – I hope he plays well. Very consistent. 27th, 6th, 12th, 15th in his last 4. A win is due. I don’t think it’s against Koepka though.
  • Justin Thomas – My last review. 4 back which halfway isn’t a lot. He’s above average. He’s the 3rd best golfer in my opinion. At 16-1, I think it’s the only play other than Brookes or Dustin. I can’t see anyone sneaking past these guys.
