The Nuggets bet hit and I’m 2k richer after losing 4.5k since the Super Bowl. If I could only get rid of that pesky golf betting, I may be profitable. Also to see that I’m down $627 on NFL is humorous when I hit the Chiefs and Mahomes MVP for about 5k. That’s gambling for you.
I’d be lying to say that the golf results don’t disappoint me. It’s undoubtedly what I spend the most time paying attention to. That the CT Pan win would have saved so much face is what keeps me going. 100-1 hit is too exhilarating. I also shoot myself in the foot a bit by continuously betting on people who I “know” will win. I’ll be wagering a lot on Cam Smith this US open so hopefully he at least makes the cut.
I’ve already started making some NFL bets and my favorite right now is Josh Jacobs at 60-1 for offensive player of the year. Jimmy G may be an upgrade from Carr and make no mistake that Jacobs is a baller. He rushed for 1,653 yards last year and had five 100 yard games and one 200 yard rushing game. He’s only 25 and he added 400 receiving yards. I’m not sure how someone of this caliber is 60-1. I get the team sucks but I already have $60 on it and will cross my fingers he starts out a beast.
