What Does This Remind You Of?

I took the above picture while on a walk last week. When I looked at, something immediately triggered in my brain… “I’ve seen this before“.

I assumed it would come to me within a few seconds… but it never did.

Minutes went by, then hours, then days. Nothing. I couldn’t believe it. I was like Spongebob trying to remember his name.

I started Googling anything I could think of to try and jog my memory. I knew if I saw the picture I’d recognize it immediately:

• scary round face baby
• early internet scary face
• baby yelling two teeth
• baby yelling two teeth bald and ugly

I told Meghan a dozen times that it looked like SOMETHING, but I was starting to sound crazy.

WHAT WAS IT?!?!

And then… I saw it.

Vindicated. I found it. My son in that picture looks like….

BAT BOY

I have no idea who Bat Boy is. Apparently he’s part boy, part bat and was featured on the cover of a tabloid magazine in 1992. People found the picture above riveting.

34 years later, and we may have the actual bat boy on our hands.
