Make Gymnastics Watchable

I was watching some females collegiate gymnastics the few hours before the Super Bowl and I was moderately entertained. Then there was a Reddit thread that led me to these next two videos.

This is the one where the moves are banned because they are too dangerous. The Korbut flip is absurd. Reminded me of Blades of Glory and the Iron Lotus.

This is the story of a girl who got injured doing a move and became a paraplegic. She was Russian and was facing intense pressure to perform. Wild story.
