These two have become part of my identity.
Yesterday, I took the best picture of them I’ve ever taken.
It’s incredible. Serene, yet powerful. Delicate, yet intimidating. Both heads pointing slightly towards the center. Great symmetry.
I can’t tell who steals the show. Melon’s furry eyeless sockets are on beautiful display and his tail gently wraps around his body.
Meanwhile Covy stares on from afar with a curious glint in his eye, his size apparent by being taller than Melon despite being behind him in the frame.
You can literally draw a flat line connecting all four ears (though Melon’s chopped ear ruins it). I don’t know what that means, but it has to be good.
I failed photography in college, but god damnit would my teacher be proud if she saw this masterpiece.
